What is Karva Chauth Xpressions?

Karva Chauth Xpressions is part of Festive Xpressions where you can find Karva Chauth information and related gift items.

How do I shop for Karva Chauth gifts and products?

You can shop in Karva Chauth Xpressions with the easy to use shopping cart system. Once you see a gift item of interest you can click on the ‘add to cart' button and it will be added to your shopping cart You can add and remove items from your shopping cart as you please. When you have finished shopping you can proceed to checkout.

What items can be bought?

Karva Chauth Xpressions has a range of Mithai (Indian Sweets), Chocolates, Dry Fruits, Puja Thalis and Gift Hampers. If you have any suggestions on what other products you would like to see on our site please send an email to info@festive-xpressions.com and we will try to accommodate them in our selection.

Where has Karva Chauth Xpressions bought their products from?

We have collected our items from various small artisans and craftsman as well as from partnerships with certain vendors. All of our products are made in India 

 

Delivery Questions:

Which countries do you deliver to?

All of our products can be delivered to all areas of India free of shipping charges. As well some of our products can be delivered to most other countries around the world. To see a complete list of the countries we deliver to click here. All prices for products being sent worldwide are inclusive of shipping and tax charges with no hidden costs. What shipping methods do you use?      

All deliveries made in India are sent through courier (if cannot be delivered to certain area product is sent through registered post or speed post) by DTDC, TNT or India Post. Deliveries made in other parts of the world can be sent through Courier by DTDC, TNT or India Post.  Please make sure that you chose the correct product to be sent to the appropriate Country.

How long does it take for delivery time?

For the items being delivered in India you should expect the item to be delivered within 2-5 days. For items delivered through courier to other countries expect it to reach within 3-6 days. Delivery times include time for processing and packaging.
 

What are the shipping charges?

Items delivered in India are absolutely free of shipping charges. For items delivered to other countries the shipping fee is included in the price, please see the Send gifts worldwide page for prices.  

 

Ordering Questions:

When should I place the order by if I want the gift to be delivered by Karva Chauth

We advise that you place your order before October 22, 2007 to ensure delivery before or on Karva Chauth: October 29, 2007.  If an order is placed after October 22 we will do our best to deliver the gift by or on Karva Chauth, however we cannot guarantee its timely delivery. Please note that if you are sending a gift to a remote area in India please allow up to 5 days additional days for delivery, since the package may have to be sent by registered post.

What if I don't have the recipients email and phone number, can I still place an order?

We now require the recipient’s phone number when placing an order but email is optional. The recipients phone number is needed in case of problems in delivery arise.

How do I know when the order I placed has been registered by you?

You will be receiving two confirmation emails which include an order confirmation from Festive Xpressions and a receipt from pay pal, once you have completed the order. Please check your email as soon as you placed the order and remember to print your receipts. If you have not received the email please contact us at: orders@festive-xpressions.com

Are the items displayed on your site identical to those delivered?

The images of our products are the same as those delivered, since they have been taken by the vendors themselves. However some puja thalis displayed on our site may differ in color from the item delivered since they are handicraft items. In any case we will ensure the same quality as shown in the images.

What if there is a typing error in the order form?

If you find a typing error in your receipt or order form please contact us as soon as possible at orders@festive-xpressions.comand we will gladly fix the problem as long as the product has not already been shipped.

Will I be able to track my order?

Yes, you will be able to track your order on our site by clicking track your order at the top of our site or click here and entering your order tracking number found on your receipt printed or in your email confirmation. Here you will be able to find the status of your order.

What does order tracking tell me?

The order tracking informs you of the status of the order and payment. When the order status reads 'New' the order has just come through and has not been viewed yet. When 'In progress' is read then the order has been received and we are in the process of shipping the product out. When the status is 'Completed' then the order has been shipped out. When the payment status reads 'Unknown' the payment is yet to be processed, if 'Settled' the payment has been or shortly will be collected, if 'Declined' then the order payment has been declined (please contact us in this case), if 'Failed' then the payment processor attempted to process the order but failed to (please contact us in this case). You will also know which shipping company we have sent the package through and the waybill number. If you are sending your package through courier we will also provide information on how to track your order through the shipping company. However, there Registered Post items cannot be tracked once sent to be shipped.

What if my product was never received?

 We do our best to ensure that our customers receive their products on time and keep them informed with our order tracking system. But, if the problem arises where the order has already been packaged and sent by Festive Xpressions and has not been recieved within the time given for delivery then we will do our best to track the order through the shipping company. However, Festive Xpressions is not responsible for any item lost in courier or registered post. Please remember that Registered post cannot be tracked through shipping companies. Payment Questions:  

What type of payment do you except?

We accept payments by Credit Card or with a pay pal account. The following credit cards can be used: VISA, Master card, American Express and Discover. 

Will my credit card number be secure?

The processing of credit cards is done through Pay pal. You do not need a pa ypal account to use your credit card as the method of payment. All Pay pal transactions are secured with 128 bit SSL and powerful encryption to ensure safe online transactions.

Can I send my order by fax, email or phone?                   

No, orders are only accepted online after the payment and credit card information has been secured.

Can I view your prices in different currencies?

We do not have a currency converter in which you may view all our prices in another currency; however we have installed The XE.com Universal currency converter in which converts a specific amount from US dollars into the desired currency click here to view.

Can I cancel an order after it has been submitted?

No, once the order and payment has been completed it cannot be cancelled. However, if there was a mistake in the ship to or bill to information or if you wish to send a different product of the same value please contact us at: orders@festive-xpressions.combefore the product is shipped and we will be happy to resolve the problem.

What is your return policy?

Once our goods have been shipped they cannot be returned.

What if my product arrives in a damaged state?

We try to do our best to ensure that all our packages are received in the best condition by wrapping all our products in bubble wrap and corrugated box packages. However, if you receive your product in damaged condition please contact us as soon as possible at orders@festive-xpressions.com or call 1-403-613-0956. If you would like a full refund for your damaged product you will be required to send it back to us within 3 weeks of receiving the product.

Our perishable food items such as chocolates, mithai etc. are packaged securely for safe shipping.However, if our perishable food items are ever received in a non-presentable condition (as per the statement of the delivery person) then we will gladly deliver the product again. Again please contact us immediately if ever this situation arises.
